Form 990-N

Form 990 is an annual information return required to be filed with the IRS by most organizations exempt from income tax. There is no fee for filing this form.

Form 990-N is due every year by the 15th day of the 5th month after the close of your tax year. You cannot file the e-Postcard until after your tax year ends.

For SVW the due date is May 15th.

If an organization normally has gross receipts of $50,000 or less, it must file Form 990-N electronically. There is no paper form.

Form SI-100

Every California nonprofit must file a Statement of Information with the California Secretary of State, within 90 days of registering with the California Secretary of State, and every two years thereafter during a specific 6-month filing period based on the original registration date. The filing period includes the registration month and the immediately preceding five (5) months.

Note: SVW's first registration was in June 2014. Therefore we file SI-100 during January to June of every year that is even.

Form CT-TR-1

This is the Annual Treasurer Report for charities with annual revenue less than $50,000. This can be done online or by mailing paper form.

File this along with RRF-1.

Form RRF-1

Every California charity organization is required to renew the registration with the registry every year. This can be done online or by paper.

Required annual filings and registration fees are due 4 months and 15 days after the charitable organization's fiscal year ends.
