Here is an overview of the spindle turning & pen turning class SVW is teaching at the Santa Clara High School.  The 'course' is a 9 hr course (90 mins x 6 days). This course is repeated 20 times (batches of 8 kids at a time) over the semester to cover all the kids (approx. 130) of the Construction 1 class. 

I want to thank all the volunteers for giving their time and efforts to help the kids. 

I also want to thank Jerry Galli & Eric of WoodCraft of San Carlos for their kind donation of practice wood, pen blanks & pen kits to the school, and Kathy Infante for equiping all the lathes with LED lights and a towel.
