Other charity organizations may use a part of your donation towards administrative costs. That can vary depending on the organization, but can sometimes be a substantial part of your donation.
We are a fully volunteer organization. There is no money taken from your donation for administrative costs. 100% of the money goes directly to the cause you care about, that is woodturning education.

As a 501(c)(3) organization, any donation you make to us is tax deductible. (note: we do not give tax advice. You can learn about 501(c)(3) organization tax status from the IRS website). You can be rest assured that every penny will go towards education.

Once you have made the donation, you will get a thank you note from the club president/treasurer, a letter stating that you have made a tax deductible donation and a receipt that you can use for tax purposes.
